Mission Statement

Our curriculum is based on the premise that "child care" and "child education" are inseparable processes occurring simultaneously through the cooperative efforts of parents and caregivers. Children develop and learn best when they encounter teachers who not only radiate love, but who interact with the children during play, story telling, music, eating, and in common everyday experiences supported by parental involvement. It is the program's intent that when a child leaves Rayne Early Childhood Program, he or she will have experienced developmentally appropriate academic, physical, mental, social and spiritual growth.

Licensing and Standards for Service
Rayne Early Childhood Program is a Type III facility licensed by the Department of Social Services Bureau of Licensing, and thus meets the standards set by this department as well as standards of the State Department of Health and Hospitals and the Office of State Fire Marshal.
Our services, policies, and procedures also are governed by the RECP Advisory Board as well as the philosophy, goals, and guidelines set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) by whom the Program is additionally accredited.

We are committed to serving you and your family with an excellent early childhood experience that prepares your child for the BIGGER world.
